From gvse:
This update has taken a while, but it's because the news isn't good. My friend and a better half of Project Cars Modding Team, JDougNY, is now gone. I don't want to get into the reasons why, beyond the fact that life outside modding and playing games catches up with all of us. So the PCMTeam is a team in name only as I am on my own. I still enjoying modding PC2 so I intend to carry on, but I'm going to have to take care of physics setup as well, which is something I need to learn. For now I will soon release an update of our Ferrari Scuderia, which takes care of a bug and introduces minor visual improvements. Then I plan to push out the 2019 Porsche 991.2 GT3RS: its physics is largely based on our previously released GT3RS (PC1 release), but of course includes the improvements that Porsche introduced in the .2 facelift version. Next I will look into re-releasing our PC1 mods (e.g. 2006 Ford GT) in Project Cars2 environment. All the while I'll be trying to understand car setup and maybe one day will put the Dodge Demon we teased a while ago on its discreet physics. For not the Demon is on hold. |
