GVSE has shared new images of Ferrari Scuderia the team are converting to Project Cars2. The first car (911 R) was a surprise release, but from now on the guys are gonna tease us with snapshots. Release: soon ;) A few bugs were reported, so Porsche 911 R was revised to V1.01

Porsche 911 R JDougNY has created a new stripped down bootfiles package for Project Cars 2, which protects the important physics files from being modified. This new Bootfiles V3.0.0.0 package will be used to allow the adding of a new Porsche 911 R V1.00 that the team has created for Project Cars 2!
The main issue with adding in cars is that new tyre hdtbin files cannot be created. Also, the creation of custom tyre carcass and tread is not possible, without the decoding, translating and expansion of the now binary tire.bin. At initial release of PC2, JDougNY was not pleased with the behavior of the Road Pirelli tyres (and other tyre sets) and shelved the game. After patch 3.0.0.0, the tyres were tweaked by SMS and JDougNY saw improvement, but still sees a need for custom carcass and hdtbin's with working with the Road Pirelli tyres. The decision then became whether or not to release a car where, JDougNY is not completely happy with tyre behavior that he cannot change. The group decision was to release the car. Visit the "Downloads - Project Cars 2" page to download both the "Bootfiles" and "Porsche 911 R" packages. Follow the instructions carefully (meaning to read them well before asking questions). An entry is needed in two files ....vehiclelist.lst and driveline.rg |
